1. Download OPO airport App

Porto’s airport has an App that allows you to better manage your time on layover by giving you access to important information.

You can check your boarding gate, estimated time of departure, location of restaurants and shops, even check the weather in the city and find some exclusive airport deals and discounts.

OPO airport’s app is called ANA Portuguese Airports and you can find it in the App Store and Google Play.

2. Store your baggage

OPO airport has a service that allows you to store your baggage if you want to visit Porto without having to carry it around.

It’s located on the 3th floor of the airport. It allows you to store several bags and even big items like a bicycles or a surf board.

Prices per 24 hours range from 3€ to 8€ if you have more than 30kg of baggage.

2. Transport to the city

Porto and specially the historical centre is about 10 miles from Porto’s airport, but there are 4 main ways you can use to get into the city.

Outside the Arrivals you have taxis, in Portugal they are black and green.

You also have several ride-hailing apps like Uber and a portuguese company called Bolt that you also can find on App Store or Google Play.

There is also a Metro line that goes into the city´s Trindade station. You can find the metro station on the ground floor of the airport. You can check the prices and schedules here. https://en.metrodoporto.pt/

Car Rentals can also be found on Level Zero of the airport terminal like: Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt.

3. What to see in Porto
