Fabulous Tour of Beautiful Porto by Motorcycle + Sidecar — Don’t Miss This Unique Experience! I can honestly say this was some of the best money spent on our Porto vacation! Our guide, João, met us at our hotel ready for a 3-hour guided adventure. He arrived with a stunning new Ural motorcycle and sidecar in classic olive drab paint — such a stylish way to see the city! Helmets were provided, and before setting off we chatted about our interests and the sights we hoped to explore.From the moment we left the hotel, we felt like the envy of everyone we passed. The ride was smooth, the pace perfect — never rushed — and João’s knowledge of Porto was truly stellar. We cruised through charming side streets, visited historic churches, and stopped at cozy cafés, soaking up the city’s beauty and hospitality.João kept us entertained the entire time with his fun banter and fascinating local insights. His humor, warmth, and genuine love for Porto made this experience unforgettable. Thank you, João, for sharing your city and giving us such wonderful memories — this was truly a highlight of our trip!

It’s safe and exhilarating!!! Our guide was so kind, thoughtful, cautious and respectful of not only us, but pedestrians or other vehicles as well. We saw so much of Porto - it’s an experience beyond words. I strongly recommend the all day tour that includes a tour of the oldest winery of port wines. The day was altered to the interests of two senior ladies who had a blast. We even went to the fisherman area for fresh fish cooked on an outdoor grill…amazing. The day had plenty of stops for photos along with some short guided walking tours…a perfect balance to stretch and explore. You’re going to love it too!!!

We had an incredible time exploring Porto with Porto Sidecar Tours. One of us rode in the sidecar and the other on the back of the motorbike. Such a fun and unique way to see the city! Pedro, our guide, was fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Porto. He told us all about the city’s history and architecture, showed us the best spots for port tastings, and recommended great local restaurants. The route through the old town and along the Douro River to the Atlantic coast was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended!

Highlight of our trip to Porto Pacio met us 10 minutes early and we had a chat about everything we had already seen while in Porto to give him a plan for us to see as much new sites and areas as possible. Pacio then asked preferences such as beach or city, Porto or Gaia, the tour was tailored to exactly what we wanted and throughout the evening Pacio gave options and choice. Pacio stopped at amazing viewing points for photos and as a bonus he was a very passionate and talented photographer. The price of the tour alone was worth it for the quality and the amount of photos all taken from viewing points only a local would know. This was by far the best experience we had in Porto and we felt Pacio's knowledge of local history and ability to chat and answer questions while the motorcycle was moving enhanced the experience. If you're in Porto for a short period of time this is by far the optimum way to see the most sites while learning about the history with a really friendly very informed guide and also an exhilarating way to travel the small streets of the city. As a bonus we had a meal booked in a resteraunt after the tour and Pacio dropped us to the door, the guy could not have been more helpful, highly recommend.

Fun, unique way to see the city So fun seeing the highlights of Porto with Joao! We did a quick two hour tour, and Joao did a wonderful job hitting the high points and educating us on the city.

Pedro was an excellent tour host! Highly recommend, 5 stars! His knowledge of Porto and Gaia was impressive. Great communicator with a sunny disposition and sense of humor. He took us places a vehicle would not go. His bike climbed hills with ease. Absolutely can’t go wrong choosing Pedro for a motorcycle tour!!

Best Porto Experience! What an amazing day and the best way to experience all that Porto has to offer! Beautiful views, private experience, amazing lunch with the freshest sea bass and really unique port tasting. Loved it!

October 3 Pacio and Pedro were fantastic!!! This was easily the highlight of our week-long tour of Porto and Lisboa. We’d rate this tour as a 6-star tour if we could.

Street art tour! Highly recommend this experience. Joao was very informative and friendly. A great selection of stops for art and history. We had a nice break for coffee and pastry and Joao coordinated my drop off at a small fishing village for lunch.

Best thing ever! Joao was a wonderful host in a beautiful city. He is the friendliest, most informative guide. If there are places you b want to see..or don't want to see.. He will customize your experience. If you're not sure..he will offer suggestions. He knows the history and the current situation and future plans for many parts of Porto. The sidecar is so much fun! Everyone waves at you..kind of jealous at how you're getting around! Spending time with Joao is making a friend. Enjoy!

This was the hilight of our trip to Porto ! Jaoa was such a gentleman, didn’t go fast and he knew all the facts, also being on a bike we could go places that you normally had to walk up so many hills and stairs. Don’t miss out on this side car adventure!

Fantastic experience We loved this tour. Our guides were so kind and friendly and it was an excellent way to see the city from different vantage points and to learn snippets of history. A fantastic introduction to Porto and such fun. We were a group of four ladies and we LOVED it. Highly recommend.

The best way to see Porto and the surrounding area A friend recommended this tour and we are so glad they did. It was such a fun way to see the city from ( quite literally ) one end to the other, plus Gaia over the river. Our driver was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and very flexible to include our preferences. We booked the trip for our first day and it was a brilliant way to get our bearings and decided which areas we wanted to return to to see more. Honestly I wish all cities offered this tour as it is much more fun than the hop on hop off bus!

We had an amazing time with João. You can tell he loves Porto and loves his job and is so happy to share it with you. He gave us an extensive tour of Porto, stopping at highlights to give us a chance for photos and to tell us information about the history of the buildings or neighborhoods. His enthusiasm was infectious and he made us feel like VIPs. It was our favorite activity in Portugal!
