				Joao was the absolute best welcome to the city! I highly recommend going on Joao’s side car to get a feel of the city and to gain a greater respect and adoration for it. He went above and beyond to make sure the ride was hilarious, fun, and memorable. He is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the city, from the architecture, to the history, and even the best local spots to eat or drink. Joao is the definition of a local and gave me great advice for the rest of my trip. He will also take the best scenic photos of you (dozens of them), which is great for solo or group traveling. Super safe drive, you hit every historic part of Porto and the highlights of Gaia, and you have a great friend for a few hours!

				Joao was a breath of fresh air and we loved his sense of humor. His passion for his city and country shines, and his knowledge is impressive. He took us to stunning viewpoints for photos, shared rich cultural insights, and pointed out local spots we later explored on our own. An unforgettable experience with an exceptional guide. 				Simply put, João is the Man! The Not Port! Wine Tour was the highlight of me and my wife's 5-year wedding anniversary in Porto which is saying something because it poured the entirety of the tour (see pic). Despite the rain, the experience was unforgettable as we saw the sights and visited some really cool off-the-beaten path bars/other cool spots. We got a glimpse into what the life of a local can be and needless to say, I wish our trip was longer and we could relive that kind of day over and over again. Cannot recommend enough making time on one of João's sidecars on your next trip to Porto.

				Fabulous Tour of Beautiful Porto by Motorcycle + Sidecar — Don’t Miss This Unique Experience! I can honestly say this was some of the best money spent on our Porto vacation! Our guide, João, met us at our hotel ready for a 3-hour guided adventure. He arrived with a stunning new Ural motorcycle and sidecar in classic olive drab paint — such a stylish way to see the city! Helmets were provided, and before setting off we chatted about our interests and the sights we hoped to explore.From the moment we left the hotel, we felt like the envy of everyone we passed. The ride was smooth, the pace perfect — never rushed — and João’s knowledge of Porto was truly stellar. We cruised through charming side streets, visited historic churches, and stopped at cozy cafés, soaking up the city’s beauty and hospitality.João kept us entertained the entire time with his fun banter and fascinating local insights. His humor, warmth, and genuine love for Porto made this experience unforgettable. 				It’s safe and exhilarating!!! Our guide was so kind, thoughtful, cautious and respectful of not only us, but pedestrians or other vehicles as well. We saw so much of Porto - it’s an experience beyond words. I strongly recommend the all day tour that includes a tour of the oldest winery of port wines. The day was altered to the interests of two senior ladies who had a blast. We even went to the fisherman area for fresh fish cooked on an outdoor grill…amazing. The day had plenty of stops for photos along with some short guided walking tours…a perfect balance to stretch and explore. You’re going to love it too!!!

				We had an incredible time exploring Porto with Porto Sidecar Tours. One of us rode in the sidecar and the other on the back of the motorbike. Such a fun and unique way to see the city! Pedro, our guide, was fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Porto. He told us all about the city’s history and architecture, showed us the best spots for port tastings, and recommended great local restaurants. The route through the old town and along the Douro River to the Atlantic coast was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended!

				Highlight of our trip to Porto Pacio met us 10 minutes early and we had a chat about everything we had already seen while in Porto to give him a plan for us to see as much new sites and areas as possible. Pacio then asked preferences such as beach or city, Porto or Gaia, the tour was tailored to exactly what we wanted and throughout the evening Pacio gave options and choice. Pacio stopped at amazing viewing points for photos and as a bonus he was a very passionate and talented photographer. The price of the tour alone was worth it for the quality and the amount of photos all taken from viewing points only a local would know. This was by far the best experience we had in Porto and we felt Pacio's knowledge of local history and ability to chat and answer questions while the motorcycle was moving enhanced the experience. If you're in Porto for a short period of time this is by far the optimum way to see the most sites while learning about the history with a really friendly very informed guide and also an exhilarating way to travel the small streets of the city. As a bonus we had a meal booked in a resteraunt after the tour and Pacio dropped us to the door, the guy could not have been more helpful, highly recommend.

				Street art tour! Highly recommend this experience. Joao was very informative and friendly. A great selection of stops for art and history. We had a nice break for coffee and pastry and Joao coordinated my drop off at a small fishing village for lunch.

				Best thing ever! Joao was a wonderful host in a beautiful city. He is the friendliest, most informative guide. If there are places you b want to see..or don't want to see.. He will customize your experience. If you're not sure..he will offer suggestions. He knows the history and the current situation and future plans for many parts of Porto. The sidecar is so much fun! Everyone waves at you..kind of jealous at how you're getting around! Spending time with Joao is making a friend. Enjoy!

The perfect All Day Overview of Porto with 2 local wine tastings!

From your hotel the rhythm is slow-paced with conversation, historical facts, curiosities, lots of photos and great views!

Through the historic center, we’ll see places like the Cathedral, Miragaia, Massarelos, Foz neighborhoods.

Back to the city to explore neighborhoods like Clérigos and Vitória, learn the history behind them and the great views that Porto has to offer.

Wine Tasting: Time for our first wine tasting, a local aperitif before lunch!

Let’s make our way across the river to Gaia, see the famous D.Luis bridge, the Port wine neighborhood and some of the best viewpoints of Porto!

Now it’s time to make our way to a lovely little fishermen’s village for amazing fresh fish lunch! ( lunch not included)
